This issue is dedicated to the living memory of Eva Saulitis and Marie Sheppard Williams, marvelous writers and poets whose works graced our pages many times over several decades, and who died earlier this year, both of metastatic breast cancer. Although as writers they differed greatly in style and content, the fierce integrity and wisdom intrinsic in their work exemplify why writing and art truly matter.
